J. Douglas Warren

M.D., FACS

Dr. Warren is a board certified Otolaryngologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1984. He completed his residency in 1990 from Washington University/Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He joined the staff of Boulder Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat in 1990 and served as chief of medical staff at Avista from 1992-1993. In addition, he served as chief of surgery at Boulder Community Hospital from 1998-2002. His special interests include head and neck surgery, treatment of head and neck cancer, and general otolaryngology. Dr. Warren is very close with his family and has three adult children. He likes to spend his free time out of the office on his mountan bike, travelling around the world, and watching his Ohio State Buckeyes dominate college sports.

David D. Morrissey

David D. Morrissey

Dr. Morrissey is a board certified Otolaryngologist. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Colorado, Denver in 1994. He went on to complete his residency in 1999 from the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. He joined the staff of Boulder Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat in 2000. He has been a member of the Cancer Committee, Medical Executive Committee, and served as Chief of Surgery at Boulder Community Hospital from 2004 -2006, and Avista Hospital from 2007-2010. He is no longer the president at foothills surgery center. Dr. Morrissey treats both adult and pediatric patients. His interests include general otolaryngology, diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, sinus procedures, and treatment of cancer of the head and neck. Dr. Morrissey has years of experience with balloon sinuplasty, eustachian tube dilation and reduction of the nasal turbinates both in office and in the operating room. When not in the office, Dr. Morrissey enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Dr. Morrissey is an outdoor enthusiast who spends time hiking, flyfishing and river rafting. He is also an avid fisherman and has never been on a fishing trip he didn’t love.

Andrew C. Goldman

Dr. Andrew Goldman is double board certified in head and neck surgery, as well as in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Goldman graduated with honors from Rush University in Chicago with his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996. Dr. Goldman completed his head and neck surgery residency training in Brooklyn, New York at SUNY-Downstate in 2001, and then trained as a fellow in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious University Hospital in Bern, Switzerland 2001-2002. He then returned to Brooklyn and served as assistant professor in Facial Plastic Surgery until he moved to Boulder and joined Boulder Valley Ear, Nose & Throat Associates in 2004.

Dr. Goldman has pioneered office based cosmetic surgical techniques, and performs many of his cosmetic face and neck procedures in the office without the need for deep sedation or anesthesia in the operating room. In addition to performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures for the face and neck, Dr. Goldman also is the founder and medical director of Boulder Valley Laser and Cosmetic, an aesthetic practice that focuses on non-surgical therapies using medical grade lasers and skin care. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Goldman spends time with his wife and kids, and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.

Donald A. Maschka

Donald A. Maschka

Dr. Maschka is a board certified Otolaryngologist and has completed a fellowship in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Iowa in 1992 and completed his residency in 1997 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. After residency he practiced in Iowa for 17 years and enjoyed a high-paced and varied otolaryngology practice.

During this time he trained ENT residents as an Associate Professor for the University of Iowa and has also provided services for the Mayo Clinic Health System in Minnesota. In 2006 Dr. Maschka founded a successful allergy practice utilizing innovative allergy techniques. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors at multiple hospital, clinic, and surgery center boards. He has won numerous awards and has been recognized for his dedication to patient care and service to the local community. He joined the staff of Boulder Valley Ears, Nose, and Throat in 2015, and is Medical Director of the Boulder Allergy Clinic. His special interests include general and pediatric otolaryngology, thyroid surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disorders of the head and neck. Outside of the office, Dr. Maschka likes to spend time with his wife and two adult sons, as well as being a competitive cyclocross biker.
