Physician Assistants

Melissa Williams

Laura Norman

PA-C

Laura is a certified Physician Assistant practicing in otolaryngology. She is a native of Boulder but completed her bachelor’s degree at Macalester College in Minnesota and received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University in Iowa. Prior to joining the Boulder Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat team, Laura worked in otolaryngology at a clinic in Northern Virginia. In her free time, Laura enjoys playing violin, hiking, cross-country skiing, and spending time with her family.

Lauren Cantor

PA-C

Lauren is a certified Physician Assistant practicing in otolaryngology. She was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She obtained both her bachelor’s degree followed by her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Indiana University. Prior to joining the Boulder Valley Ear, Nose and Throat practice, Lauren worked in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, skiing, baking, and being with family and friends.

Josh Gumpert 

PA-C

Josh is a certified Physician Assistant practicing in otolaryngology. He was raised on the Western Slope of Colorado in Fruita/Grand Junction. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from CU Boulder. After working in a local Pathology lab, Josh entered the US Navy and went on to receive a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program. He worked in primary care while in the Navy and deployed once with a US Marine Corps battalion. He honorably separated from the US Navy after 11 years of service and returned home to Colorado where he joined the Boulder Valley Ear, Nose and Throat team. Outside of work Josh enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, two boys, and dogs.

Caitlyn Berango

PA-C

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Obtained both bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Indiana State University. Prior to joining the Boulder Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat team, Caitlyn worked in otolaryngology in St. Louis for 2 years.

In her free time Caitlyn enjoys running, biking, time with her husband and dogs!

Melissa Williams

Melissa Williams

Dr. Melissa Williams graduated from the University of Colorado with her Doctorate of Audiology. Before that, she attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Leadership Studies. Melissa is a licensed Audiologist in the State of Colorado, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.

Melissa is passionate about helping people connect or reconnect with the world around them through hearing healthcare. She focuses on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. Melissa believes each patient has novel circumstances, goals, and needs. As a clinician, she is compelled to find creative and individualized solutions that are as distinct as the patients she sees. As a Colorado native, Melissa enjoys all the beauty Colorado has to offer. She is energetic and loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, going to the theatre, cheering for her Baylor Bears, cooking, running, dancing, and trying new hobbies (like rock climbing!)

Julia Gajewski

Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Julia Gajewski attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Doctorate of Audiology (AuD). Julia is a licensed Audiologist in the State of Colorado and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. Prior to joining Boulder Valley Hearing Associates, Julia was working as an audiologist in Arizona where she had the opportunity to work with a local non-profit organization who provided donated hearing aids to those in need. She enjoys helping others improve their communication with their loved ones and improving their quality of life. Outside of audiology, Julia is passionate about health and fitness, enjoys spending time outdoors, and spending time with her cat, Binx.

Alexis Dalager

Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Alexis Dalager graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences before continuing on to University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California to earn her Doctorate degree in Audiology. Alexis is a licensed Audiologist in the State of Colorado and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Alexis values her relationships with patients and understands their needs are unique. She believes the best thing about being an Audiologist is re-connecting patients to family and friends through improved hearing and communication. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, rafting, and running.

Oleander “Olly” Green

Au.D.

Dr. Oleander “Olly” Green attended Arizona State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Doctorate of Audiology. Olly is a licensed audiologist in Colorado and joined the Boulder Valley Hearing team in June 2024. Olly believes in using patient-centered, evidence-based care to help people with hearing loss reconnect with the world and people around them. Outside of work, Olly enjoys many hobbies including snowboarding, hiking, video games, and crochet.

Jill True

B.S., H.I.S. ,Hearing Instrument Specialist

Jill graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services. She has been working in the Northern Colorado area for seven years as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, and in the medical field for the last 20 years.

Jill enjoys the field of audiology because it allows her to build relationships with her patients and their families. She loves how improving the hearing of her patients helps connect them with their loved ones and the world around them. In 2015, she had the privilege of going on a mission trip with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to Congo and Democratic Republic of Congo to fit hearing devices to those without access to better hearing. She works primarily from the Boulder office, also helping with the administrative aspects of the department, and is credentialed to work with several third-party hearing aid distributers.

Jill loves to spend time with her three adult children and her husband, Brad. She also enjoys running marathons, hiking the beautiful Colorado mountains, and is currently training to climb Kilimanjaro!

Allergy Technician

Stephane joined Boulder Valley Allergy October of 2018. She is a nationally certified Medical Assistant and an Allergy Technician. With over 10 years in the allergy field, Stephane’s extensive experience with testing and treating patient allergies assures each and every patient experience is the very best. When not seeing patients, Stephane can be found enjoying time crafting and hiking with her husband Zach and their 2 furry kids, Cooper and Charlie.
